The Team

We are passionate about travel - not just as a job but because we love travelling ourselves, especially to Europe! So besides bringing a professional and customer-service manner to what we do, we also bring our own experiences and passion to help others to truely enjoy their holiday experience in Europe.

Adele Vincer (Reservations):
Hi, I’m Adele Vincer, my husband Bruce and I have two wonderful children Niall and Gemma.  I am originally from South Africa which is where I did all my schooling and travel training.

I started my career within the Student Travel Market in Durban, specialising in sending people to the UK and Europe on Working Holiday Visa’s.  Having then been bitten by the travel bug myself, I decided to try it out for myself.  I remained in the student market where I got to travel around the USA and Europe and then moved into the busy Business Travel side of things where  I was in charge of some very large international accounts and arranged travel for celebrities and other VIP’s travelling on behalf of charity organisations at very short notice.

Places I have visited are various parts of Africa, UK, France,  Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Fiji, Australia and Rarotonga.

Melissa Wallace (Reservations):
Hi I’m Melissa Wallace and I have nearly 14 year’s of Travel Industry experience.
I’ve worked for Air New Zealand then into retail and have enjoyed every bit of my career.

European countries that I’ve been very fortunate to visit are Italy, France, Israel, United Kingdom & Scotland.

I have a husband and two lovely girls Charlotte and Hannah. My summer holidays are spent on our launch, so my knowledge of boats and fishing are pretty good.

I’ve worked for Eurolynx Travel for nearly 3 years and am genuinely passionate about Europe.

David Franklin-Ross (Manager):

Many years ago I was having my fortune read and one distinctive premonition that a very wise lady said was “I can see Planes, many of them, going up and down” little did I know that Travel was my destiny! Here I am several years later Managing a lifestyle business after spending 8 years in the corporate Banking world and another 8 years in the exciting dynamic industry of Entertainment.

Planes, Trains, Busses, Ferries, Trams, Hot Air Balloons, Horse and Carriage, Ocean Liners, River Cruise Boats and Barges have all taken me to places I would never have dreamed of visiting, from the Aran Islands off the coast of Ireland to the Russian capital of Moscow.

Tony Franklin-Ross (Managing Director):
My passion for travel, and expecially of Europe, probably arose from fond memories as a child in the 1970's watching slide-shows from the travels of family friends. To merge both personal passion for travel and work, I purchased Eurolynx in 2004.

Destinations personally experienced in Europe include: UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Sweden, Belgium, Greece. Outside of Europe: Alaska, Hawaii, west coast USA, Australia, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Rarotonga & South Africa.

I am: most relaxed at a beach (summer or winter!); most inspired when visiting the cathedrals or village churches of Europe; most fascinated at ancient Roman or Greek sites.

Bacchus:
Miss Bacchus, being a British Blue, of course has a pedigree interest in Britain! But mostly she is to be found during the summer enjoying the cool air on the deck outside the office, or in winter stretched out on the carpet close behind the wheels of an office chair.
